Center for Family Support is part of the Winthrop Beacon III
Community Center. It is a free comprehensive family
counseling center located at I.S 232. We offer
a nurturing, supportive and caring environment where families
can work together to improve their relationship and their
lives through :
"Empowering and strength through growth and awareness".
Our
services are free of charge and open to families in the East
Flatbush, Crown Heights and Canarsie neighborhoods. We
offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments to better
serve our clients. Each family has an assigned
caseworker who coordinates counseling, social service and
referrals for :

Behavioral,
academic and adjustment problems.

Parenting
skills workshops and adolescent support

Grief
/ bereavement issues, intensive therapy

HIV
/ AIDS education / counseling / crisis intervention
