If you are new to Labor Day Carnival, know that most everything you have heard about it is certainly true.  Yes, it is the greatest show in North America.  Yes, people dance and party in the street like there is no tomorrow.  And yes, love or hate it, it is a uniquely Caribbean experience you are unlikely to forget during your life time.

It is the Labor Day Season here in Brooklyn, New York - a festival that is often consistently rated one of the best Carnival in North America.  This is a time of dancing in the streets, masqueraders in costumes, music pounding on every street corner and well lots of eats and drinks for everyone attending the festival.

But if you think Labor Day Carnival is only for grown-ups, think again - the week Saturday before Labor Day, Brooklyn is host of a large Children's Carnival or Kiddies Carnival where children get to strut their stuff on stage in costumes just as fabulous as the grown up versions.

The costumes are beautiful and certainly impressive - it's amazing to see Sesame Flyers International's presentation this year.  Bring the kids and come to the Mas Camp today.
